Fezzari Bicycles: Power Bikes at a BargainSince Fezzari bicycles entered the market, they have proven to be a bit of an enigma to cycling enthusiasts. How did this company manage to rank itself with veteran brand names, such as Giant, Trek, and Specialized? More to the point, how are they able to manufacture affordable bicycles that rival the ones turned out by their better-known competitors? Fezzari is perhaps best known for being the bargain hunter's dream. And this is a great thing to be known by, in a market where bikes that are reputed to be really good are normally priced at over $1000. When one reads the word "Fezzari," one immediately thinks of the luxury car brand, "Ferrari," and imagines the cost is proportionally similar. This is definitely not the case. Costco is a recognized distributor of Fezzari bicycles, so if you want to know where to start looking for an affordable but stylish ride, Costco is a good place to start. This company's best selling models are currently the Wiki Peak and the Kings Peak XC. The Wiki Peak is a fairly new release, and it is a four bar full suspension mountain bike - heavy duty in every respect. It can take any terrain and can be compared in performance to the best full suspension bikes in the market. Due to the suspension work, however, the frame can be a bit heavy. The Kings Peak XC, on the other hand, is a lightweight hardtail. It is known as the "all purpose" Fezzari model, as its trademark Axis Geometry aluminum frame claims to be adaptable to any terrain. Incidentally, it is also a great buy for a first bike, at its equally lightweight suggested retail price of $839. Fezzari bicycles are fitted with parts that are considered the most affordable and yet dependable in the market. Examples of this are Avid and Shimano levers and derailleurs. Since the parts are also fairly common, replacement and repair is no problem. Want a cost-efficient, easily customized, high-performance bike? Try a Fezzari. This firm may be a fairly new player in the US biking market, but it is fast gaining on its more established competitors. |
