Fezzari Bikes: Budget Heavyweights

Fezzari bikes continue to become more popular as time goes by. One of the clearest reasons is that they are rather affordable. They are definite "heavyweights" in the industry because they are able to compete in sales alongside more recognized (and often significantly more expensive) brands like Trek, Giant and even Specialized.

Now Fezzari bikes may be cheap, but that term applies only in price. Fezzari bikes are made of top of the line materials and there is nothing "cheap" about how they have satisfied legions of discriminating customers. Costco is, in fact, a good place to buy Fezzari bikes.

Fezzari's hardtails operate with the Axis Geometry suspension technology. This is characterized by slight alterations on the frame, specifically on the tubes and angles. This is done to improve maneuverability and increase comfort for the rider.

The Kings Peak XC, which is Fezzari's famous all-purpose bike, is a hardtail model that uses this very same suspension. For this reason it is considered a good "starter" bike, perfect for different types of use and terrain. Its entry level price of $399 is ideal for the budget hunter.

The Fezzari full suspension models, however, use the four bar suspension system. The best-selling Wiki Peak belongs in this lineup. It uses the "true" four bar system, which means it has a noticeable "Horst link," or a pivot in the front of the rear wheel dropout. It would also have the standard pivots behind the bottom bracket, and on the top of the seatstays. A "faux bar," on the other hand, would also have a pivot in the rear wheel dropout area, but it would be located above the dropout, not in front. The "faux bar" is, however, an effective type of four bar suspension.

Calling a bike "heavyweight" may actually be misleading, since a truly impressive bike would be light. Lightness is almost a must for most types of bikes, as this particular would be the deciding feature for a bike's speed and ease of use. A heavy bike can be rather cumbersome. Even motorcycle enthusiasts make it a point to streamline their vehicles, remove parts that are not needed for the types of driving that they intend to do. You need not worry about this, because just as Fezzari bikes are light on the wallet, they are also light on the road.
